A couple of my favourite blogs are celebrating their birthdays at the moment, and I thought this would be a great time to share some of the blogs that inspire me (including the two birthday blogs).
Happy 1st Birthday, From Me To You!
Jamie is a ridiculously talented photographer living in New York City (so envious!). In her blog, ‘From Me To You’, Jamie explores the city she lives in, cooks up a storm and pairs the meal with a movie, interviews intriguing people and much more. Each time I visit From Me To You I am caught up in the beauty of Jamie’s pictures, and wish I could jump through my screen into the scenes she has created. Not only is Jamie a wonderful artist, she is also beautiful and stylish; I love the self-portraits she created for her blog’s first birthday:
Happy 2nd Birthday, WishWishWish!
Although Carrie is a full-time student in London, she somehow manages to post the most amazing vintage-inspired fashion shots on her blog, WishWishWish. Whimsical, pretty, adventurous, romantic…these are the words that come to mind when I browse Carrie’s blog; both her outfits and the locations she picks are amazing! Oh, and I am dying to visit some of the vintage stores she has shared about. Her cute and charming writing style makes WishWishWish one to visit over and over again:
Inspired by: What I Wore
When browsing the Modcloth site about a year ago, I stumbled upon their ‘Blogger of the Moment’, who was at the time Jessica Schroeder of What I Wore. This was the first blog I ever read, and still absolutely one of my favourites. Jessica makes fashion so accessible and fun, and shows readers how to make the most of their wardrobe and re-style what they already have. In the space of about two years, What I Wore has become super successful; Jessica is even writing a book at the moment – I can’t wait for it to be released!
Inspired by: Keiko Lynn
Another lucky NYC resident, Keiko Lynn is a self-taught fashion designer and as well as blogging she runs an online store called Postlapsaria, selling her unique and beautiful creations. I love Keiko’s style and the bright, fun outfits she pulls together:
There are so many more blogs that I love and read almost every day, but that would make for a very long post, so I have kept it down to some of my favourites. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do!!Want to see more posts like this?
