One of the great things about Adelaide is its abundance of wine regions surrounding the city: McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills and, of course, the world-famous Barossa Valley. I had been to the Barossa once when I was very young, but didn’t remember anything about it, so I’ve been so grateful to have had not just one, but two opportunities to explore the beautiful region in the last few months.
The first trip was for a girly weekend of watching British comedies, laughing at stupid things, singing in the car, talking in ridiculous accents, eating too much chocolate and a little bit of wine tasting mixed in.
The second visit was with Brendan, my sister and my Dad, and it involved a lot more wine tasting and a lot less chocolate. Both trips were relaxing and filled with the gourmet things in life, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Here are a few highlights from my time in the Barossa Valley:Want to see more posts like this?
